Anamara's Inaugural Sailing: A New Galápagos Expedition Cruise for Fall 2027

In Fall 2027, Anamara will set out on her first Galápagos expedition cruise. She is an ultra-luxury expedition yacht on an intimate scale: nine suites, sixteen guests and eighteen crew, including three naturalist guides. Behind her is more than 40 years of history in the islands. Co-founders Santiago Dunn, CEO, and his son Santiago Dunn Bustamante are building what comes next. Anamara is the next chapter.

Seven or fourteen nights, Saturday to Saturday

Every voyage starts in San Cristóbal. Rising Earth explores the young volcanic west, from Isabela to Fernandina. Ancient Shores visits the older islands of the east, among them Española and Floreana. Choose one, or join both for The Full Immersion Expedition: fourteen nights across the archipelago. Every route is set by the Galápagos National Park so no visitor site is ever crowded, and our guides read each landing as it unfolds. See all Itineraries.

One guide for every six guests

Group size makes the difference. Excursions sail in groups of six or fewer, less than half the size the park allows. Fewer people on each trail means quieter landings, closer looks and every question answered.

The yacht is the basecamp

Eight suites of 237 sq ft (22 m²) open onto the islands through floor-to-ceiling windows, and two pairs interconnect for families. The Owner's Suite spans 474 sq ft (44 m²), with a 183 sq ft (17 m²) private terrace facing open water. Between excursions, there is a 969 sq ft (90 m²) wellness area with sauna and Technogym gym, a sun terrace with jacuzzi and a walk-in wine cellar. Evenings close with a plated five-course dinner from Executive Chef Francisco Vintimilla, drawn from Ecuador's four geographies: coast, Andes, Amazon and the islands themselves.

A voyage that gives back

Anakata created the Anakata Galápagos Conservation Fund with Fundación Jocotoco to support native habitats, species and scholarships for young islanders. On board, fifty solar panels light the social decks at night, and there are no single-use plastics.

Why the first sailing matters

An inaugural voyage happens once. The guests aboard will be the first to slip from Anamara's Zodiacs into Galápagos water. Those sailing in the inaugural month will also enjoy a complimentary post-cruise hotel stay on the mainland.

This is Galápagos, evolved.
