Inside Anamara: An Ultra-Luxury Expedition Yacht Built for Galápagos
Inside Anamara was not designed to be looked at. She was designed to be looked out from. Every space aboard exists to bring you closer to what lies outside it.
Nine suites, sixteen guests
Anamara carries just sixteen guests across nine suites. Each of the eight suites spans 237 sq ft (22 m²), with floor-to-ceiling windows and nothing between you and the view. Two pairs connect, so families and friends can travel side by side and still close a door at night, and select suites can welcome a third guest. The Owner's Suite spans 474 sq ft (44 m²), with a 183 sq ft (17 m²) private terrace facing open water.
Ready for the islands
Three Zodiacs carry guests to every landing, in groups of six or fewer. Sea kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear and wetsuits are all on board and all included. In Galápagos, wildlife has no reason to be afraid. We keep a respectful distance, and often it is the sea lion that decides to come closer.
A table that belongs to Ecuador
Executive Chef Francisco Vintimilla's menu draws on Ecuador's four geographies: coast, Andes, Amazon and the islands themselves. Breakfast and lunch are served with live cooking, often al fresco on the sun terrace. Evenings close with a plated five-course dinner and wines from the walk-in cellar, including Ecuadorian labels.
Wellness, island style
After a morning on the trail or in the water, the 969 sq ft (90 m²) wellness area is there to restore: a Technogym gym, a sauna, a yoga space at first light and a treatment room, with a wellness therapist on board. On the sun terrace, the jacuzzi waits with a view of the islands, and the observation lounge keeps a library for quieter hours.
A crew that knows your name
Eighteen crew, including three naturalist guides, look after sixteen guests. That means fewer strangers, quieter service, and someone who knows how you take your coffee by the second day. The comfort is a given. The islands are the reason.
