BOOKING TERMS
These Booking Terms apply to all Anakata expeditions and private charters and form part of our Terms & Conditions, which also set out our payment methods, changes and refund procedures. All prices and payments are in US dollars and are made to Pontos LLC, doing business as Anakata. Any booking is subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due dates.
1. Individual and group bookings
- Deposit: 20% of the cruise rate, due within five days of booking.
- Final payment: 80%, due 120 days before departure, together with passport information. Bookings made 119 days or fewer before departure require full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellation
- 120 days or more before departure: 50% of the deposit (10% of the cruise rate).
- 119 to 90 days before departure: 50% of the cruise rate.
- 89 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the cruise rate.
2. Private charters (maximum 16 guests)
- Deposit: 20% of the charter price, due within five business days of booking. The charter is confirmed once the deposit is received. The Charter Agreement must also be signed.
- Final payment: 80%, due 120 days before departure, together with the guest list and passport information. Charters booked 119 days or fewer before departure require full payment at the time of booking, together with the guest list and passport information.
Cancellation
- 120 days or more before departure: 50% of the deposit (10% of the charter price).
- 119 to 90 days before departure: 50% of the charter price.
- 89 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the charter price.
Charter payments are made by wire transfer only. The charter price does not change with the number of guests on board, up to a maximum of 16 guests.
3. Christmas and New Year departures (Festive)
These terms apply to departures that include a week in which the yacht sails on the night of 24 or 31 December, including 14-night expeditions. Rates include the holiday supplement.
Back to Back discount (5%) does not apply for departures that have one or both weeks that fall into the festive departures.
- Deposit: 40% of the cruise rate or charter price, due within five days of booking (five business days for private charters). The deposit for Festive departures is non-refundable and cannot be moved to other dates.
- Final payment: 60%, due 180 days before departure, together with passport information. Bookings made 179 days or fewer before departure require full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellation, individual, group and charter bookings
- 180 days or more before departure: the deposit is forfeited.
- 179 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the cruise rate or charter price.
